Happy Veterans Day to all Veterans! I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Veterans and spouses that took time out of thier day to come share and visit with the students, other Veterans, and myself. It was a wonderful showing of 11 Veterans! The kids had a great time hosting and learning. These 11 Veterans, including me, brought 139 1/2 years of military experience to this classroom. We were honored to have 5 branches of the service in the classroom at the same time! Maybe next year, with can get someone from the newest branch, Space Force. We enjoyed a wonderful meal of breakfast burritos and several types of cookies from our wonderful Yaak Women’s Club. Thank you ladies!! Chery Javorsky donated an absolutely stunning quilt and a drawing was done with all of the Veteran’s names in it. Congratulations to Lea Zwiebel who won it!
